I don't travel and tell stories, because that's not the way these days. But I write my books to be read aloud, and I think of myself in that oral tradition. — Louis L'Amour

About a month ago, we had several customers tell us how they saw a bald eagle that was hit by a car and was injured in one of our back fields. When we called the DEC and they sent out an officer, the eagle was unfortunately no where to be found.
Well yesterday we spotted him towards the end of the drive way, hunting for prey on the ground, unable to fly. -
We called the DEC again, who sent the same officer right over.
Then him and Steve spent a good part of the day running all over the farm trying to capture the eagle, who was surprisingly quick and elusive despite being injured.
Eventually they were able to capture the eagle and get him into a comfort blanket.
We are happy to say the eagle will soon be in rehab and will be able to grace us all again from the skies around dutchess county.
It was truly amazing to see such a magnificent creature up close, they are really something to behold and admire.

I was watching @smithsonian_channel new series Epic Yellowstone last night and saw this familiar face. Unfortunately I was once again disappointed in the production’s willingness to let the natural story be enough. Thanks Hollywood... Oh well, at least the visuals and footage were fantastic! ...
