Check out this sleepy kākāpō chick who has just had a feed! 🐣
This wee kākāpō is Nora-3-B who hatched out at 28.13g on Whenua Hou three days ago.
Our vet Lydia who took this #vetcam on the island says Nora is especially precious as there is a possibility that she is Sinbad‘s chick and carrying precious Fiordland genes.
We’re involved in conservation Wild Work this 2019 breeding season with our amazing partners @kakapo_recovery , helping to boost the population of this precious New Zealand parrot. ...
"You'll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine" .
Routine is so important to me. There is so much I want to achieve in my life and so many factors that I have to balance on a day to day basis to live the life I want to live. Some short term goals, some looking out 5 years or longer.
Today's routine looked a little like this:
5.30am - wake up
6am - 2 hour fasted workout & mobility
8am - 20min sauna, 5 min cold shower and meditation then off to work.
12am - break my fast with apple cider vinegar and first meal (4 hours after I finish my workout 😵)
1pm - workout Number 2 for the day for 1 hour
2.30pm - meal Number 2
5pm - meal Number 3
5.30pm - yin restorative yoga for body & mind
7.30pm - home and having my final meal of the day (intermittent fasting for atleast 16 hours a day)
8pm till bed working on pet projects (some coming real soon, 👀 Bali 🇮🇩). No phone policy after 9.30pm to rest the eyes and keep me from being distracted.
Bed at 10pm - rinse and repeat for the next day!
What are your daily routines? 🤔 ...
