WHY AM I NOT SEEING RESULTS?!

A very common question.
Are you eating healthy? Are you killing your workouts every single day, and still not seeing results? Whyyyyy?! Frustrating isn’t it ?!
.
For years, I was working out and not gettin the results I was looking for. Until I actually learned exactly how much I needed to be eating for MY specific body type.
.
Carbs, don’t make you fat. Fats, don’t make you fat either. Cookies, pizza, donuts don’t make you fat!! What makes you fat, is eating a lot more calories than you’re burning throughout the day for a long period of time. You could be eating chicken rice and broccoli every single day and still get fat if you’re over consuming calories!

I also hear people say, “I’m barely eating anything and I’m still not losing weight”. Well... there is such a thing as under eating as well! If you skip breakfast, lunch, only eat once a day thinking that will make you lose weight.. well NO, not the case. That will not only slow down your metabolism, but will put your body into starvation mode. So anything you eat, your body thinks “I’m so effing hungry idk when the next time I’ll get food again will be so I’m gonna cling onto whatever this is and store it as fat to protect my organs :( please don’t starve me”.

Learning about your body type, learning exactly how many calories and how much of what macronutrient you need to be eating each day is essential to reaching the goals you desire.
.
This is why learning how to count your macros is so beneficial! Actually keeping track of what you’re putting into your body. And once you’ve got that part down, eventually you’ll be able to eyeball out your portions and eat intuitively !! And not have to weigh your food for the rest of your life.
.
So, please don’t starve yourself 🙌🏼 you can eat lots of GOOD food and reach your goals. Get in yo nutrients, water, focus on eating high quality foods, and eat what you’re craving. In. Moderation.

Be grateful for the LITTLE things. Don't get stressed over what you can't CONTROL. Being overwhelmed often means putting our focus in a time that isn't the present. To AVOID getting stressed, simply bring your attention back to the NOW.🔁⏰

EXERCISES🏋️‍♂️:
1️⃣STOP!🛑Stop and pause everything!
2️⃣BREATHE. Use the power to CONTROL your breathing to help you realize you can CONTROL something🌬💨
3️⃣ADMIT you’re anxious, angry, stressed, etc😟😤😫 4️⃣CHALLENGE your rational; is this anger/anxiety/stress helping me or hurting me?👍🏼👎🏼
5️⃣VISUALIZE yourself calm, peaceful and happy🙇‍♂️🙇‍♀️🐶
6️⃣THINK it through, Will it matter next week? Month? Year?🤔
7️⃣FREE yourself of anxiety, even momentarily, to remind yourself YOU ARE IN CONTROL!💪🏼🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️
🔁Repeat this process once, twice, as many times as you need until you realize you are the captain of the ship inside your head, and YOU determine where it goes!⛵️🚀

Anxiety occurs when you think you have to figure it all out at once. BREATHE. YOU ARE STRONG. YOU GOT THIS!

An ATTITUDE of “Whatever is Convenient” won’t accomplish very much.
An ATTITUDE of “Whatever is Takes” is impossible to stop. 👇🏽
These past few weeks has been the toughest times of my life but I freaking love the grind!!! My schedule has been so tight like weekdays I literally wake up 5am to get ready for school, be at school from 7am-12pm, working 2pm-8pm on and off, then workout 8pm-10pm, go home and study 10pm-11pm. After work, I feel so exhausted and I keep asking myself should I workout or not, even tho my body tells me that I need to get some rest, I still push myself cuz no one’s gonna do it for me. Weekends I also go to work and after that I do my homework, research projects and create programs for my clients, barely have any time with friends or family. Sometimes I just can’t believe how I get to manage school, work, gym everyday. I just don’t understand how people can’t get things done and keep saying how tired they are even they don’t even do nothing 🤦🏽‍♀️ From now on you have to stop telling yourself you’re tired, you’re lazy because it will get you nowhere if you keep doing things that you already know, you have to do something that makes you uncomfortable, something that challenges you or fears you because you don’t want to remain the same, you want to be that strong person who can handle everything. ❤️.
