Freedom calling on the open road.
Honestly there is such beauty and symbolism in an empty highway stretching off into the sunset. I know it may seem a little cliche with all the road shots here on Instagram but to me there’s a deeper meaning.
Whenever I’m traveling and see an empty road reaching off into the horizon I remind myself that life is an unwritten story about our own individual journeys in this collective world.
I remind myself that I have the power to follow whichever road I please and to become the best version of myself I can be. Only we have the power, that choice. Nobody else can make it for you; although people will try to if you allow them. By following your road and not giving up or giving into distractions or detours you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
We’re all just traveling on this road called life, make sure you’re on the right road. ✌🏼 ...
The hike up to this viewpoint is no joke. You pretty much just climb straight up this giant hill under the beating sun until you reach the top a couple hours later. But the work to get here makes this view even more special. I was giddy standing up at that point taking it all in.
