Are we still in San Diego?
Every weekend @notmattish and I try to explore a different part of San Diego to find the best locations to shoot at.
When location scouting we look an area that meets the following criteria:
1. Fun and bold colors
2. An area where it looks like I could be in a different country
3. Flowers. A ton of flowers!
These photos were taken by my favorite duo, the @getolympus E-PL9 camera and a 7-14 lens! I love the capabilities of this lens both up close and at a distance! I give it a 10/10 # sponsored #getolympus ...
“Live Composite Mode is perfect for my long exposure shots. I love my OM-D for the solid body that resists dust, water spray and cold. So I can use it anywhere, especially at night for my outdoor shots. I also use the WiFi and OI.Share app to control the exposure remotely and see the final shot in real time - a real revolution for me and my light painting work!” - @mariasaggese.lightpainting

“A storm was quickly building and rolling into town one afternoon, so I ran home to grab my camera. It was massive and you could see the wall of rain barreling down as it swiftly moved across the area. I tried to get ahead of it by driving to a neighboring town. With it barreling down on me at 60mph I made it in time to get about 5 minutes of photography. It’s surreal to be standing there with high winds whipping around you and a wall of rain coming straight at you. I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. At the last minute, I jumped in my car and headed down the road. I made it a mile before the torrential downpour and hail hit. I waited it out and as quickly as it came - it was over.” - @jessijacobsphoto
