WHY AM I NOT SEEING RESULTS?!
A very common question.
Are you eating healthy? Are you killing your workouts every single day, and still not seeing results? Whyyyyy?! Frustrating isn’t it ?!
For years, I was working out and not gettin the results I was looking for. Until I actually learned exactly how much I needed to be eating for MY specific body type.
Carbs, don’t make you fat. Fats, don’t make you fat either. Cookies, pizza, donuts don’t make you fat!! What makes you fat, is eating a lot more calories than you’re burning throughout the day for a long period of time. You could be eating chicken rice and broccoli every single day and still get fat if you’re over consuming calories!
I also hear people say, “I’m barely eating anything and I’m still not losing weight”. Well... there is such a thing as under eating as well! If you skip breakfast, lunch, only eat once a day thinking that will make you lose weight.. well NO, not the case. That will not only slow down your metabolism, but will put your body into starvation mode. So anything you eat, your body thinks “I’m so effing hungry idk when the next time I’ll get food again will be so I’m gonna cling onto whatever this is and store it as fat to protect my organs :( please don’t starve me”.
Learning about your body type, learning exactly how many calories and how much of what macronutrient you need to be eating each day is essential to reaching the goals you desire.
This is why learning how to count your macros is so beneficial! Actually keeping track of what you’re putting into your body. And once you’ve got that part down, eventually you’ll be able to eyeball out your portions and eat intuitively !! And not have to weigh your food for the rest of your life.
So, please don’t starve yourself 🙌🏼 you can eat lots of GOOD food and reach your goals. Get in yo nutrients, water, focus on eating high quality foods, and eat what you’re craving. In. Moderation.

Over the last year or so, I’ve gained an understanding of how the energy around you has a direct effect on how you feel🙏🏼💫. I’ve started to let go of what no longer serves me and let in positive energy every chance I get. Exactly ONE year ago to date, I met MaryKate in real life (after DMing on IG for a couple months😂). Her contagious energy and positive spirit were exactly what I needed as I was going through a transitional period in my career, and we simply just clicked. It’s wild how someone new can walk into your life but it feels like you’ve been friends forever. Its also crazy how much can change in a year. I’m feeling extra grateful for all of my ladies lately and am excited to spend some time together this weekend👯♀️.
The two of us are constantly looking for ways to connect with a larger group within this community that brings that same vibrancy- and we want to host more events together! recently I’ve been believing in myself more and more every single day: I’m not sure why because nothing (that I can think of) has changed. Maybe I’m letting more roll off my shoulder. Maybe I’m working harder and becoming more serious. Maybe I’m using a different IG filter (HAHA) I honestly don’t know. BUT the Good Lord tells us not to question the magic, so I won’t. All I can tell you is, life is showing me signs recently. Like the signs in Nashville or Hollywood *bright and flashy*. And while I was walking Bubba today he ran to this mural, and I thought to myself Holy 💩. It hit me like a ton of bricks. The big juicy red ones. This is what hit: *ive been talking to more friends, I’m more active than I’ve ever been, I’m healthier than I ever been, I’m happier than I’ve ever been, I have more lady balls than I ever have.
