Hi my name is Hanna and I’m a wife, smoothie lover, gluten intolerant, and an almond butter freak. My journey started when I went through many ups and downs with my health. This only made me dive deeper into learning more. Through my discoveries, I have come to believe in one simple philosophy: to live a healthy lifestyle from the inside out and vice versa. I’m excited to start a page about exercise routines, nutritious recipes, and healthy habits that benefit towards overall wellness. My hope is that through this page, we (myself included) begin to treasure our bodies and realize how they are simply created to serve the Lord Almighty. ...
Two friends and I were discussing things we immediately notice in photos of ourselves - things that literally no one else would because its based on our own insecurities. You know the thing - maybe your smile, your face shape, teeth, boobs, lack of boobs, stomach, you get it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, it’s been my thighs. I look at a photo and all I see is my curves and they get oversized in my head and i spiral because obviously my worth is tied up in the size of my thighs and “I would be happier if my Latin curves were a little less... Latin.”
STORY - this week I bought a pair of pants that were supposed to fit like boyfriend jeans. However, as Kathryn pointed out, because of my thighs, they looked more like skinny jeans that didn’t quite taper right. So I returned them. (Also get honest friends like @kathrynlynne )
BUT the point of this is that I DIDNT FEEL BAD WHEN I RETURNED THEM.
I didn’t wish for new legs. I just accepted it and EVEN loved my legs. I didn’t tell myself mean things about my body. It just “was” and it was normal — just like it’s always been everywhere outside of my own mind.
So I’m celebrating this victory of loving my body because it means that pursuing health in all areas (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) is working. Plus - I found these jeans two days later and they have made all my high-waisted, summer-feeling mom jean dreams come true.
30 DAYS! I finished! 🙋🏾♀️ Actually it’s more accurate to say I just started because I’m not done applying this healthy living plan✋🏾 This is only the beginning 💪🏾😀 I’m on the way up! 🛫
The left pictures represent a woman who said enough is enough and decided to change her life. I was tired, lazy, unmotivated, scared, fed my feelings, and kept saying “tomorrow I’ll do it”
The right shows a woman who went all out and upped her nutrition and fitness game. I am motivated, I wake up early, I am not scared, I think before I eat, and I can’t wait to see what challenges each day brings me.
- I lost 7 lbs and a bunch of inches
- I gained muscle and tone
- My clothes fit better
- My skin got clearer
- My energy is back and I don’t have major crashes throughout the day
I am so excited to what other changes I will have in the coming months. If you’re interested in joining me on my next 30 days hit me up 🤙🏾 You too can be the best version of yourself! What have you got to lose but weight? 🤷🏾♀️😉 #healthylivingfromtheinsideout#arbonne30daystohealthyliving#30daystohealthy#livingmybestlife#fitbossbabe#fitforHisreason ...
Get ready for this one...
Like I’ve said many times before.. everyone has their own vision of what healthy living looks like! Whether it’s to better your skin, or to learn how to eat cleaner, to loose weight, to boost your self esteem, to build muscle.. the list goes on!
My journey is to build muscle and maintain a fit body through the Arbonne 30 Day Challenge! Currently I’ve seen a lot of progress in my stomach and butt 👊🏻 I’ve been to the gym everyday this week.. and 3 days last week! I’m feeling better than ever throughout my fitness journey, and now that I understand how to properly feed myself for my goals.. I’m seeing the best progress I’ve ever had since I started going to the gym a year ago! (I fell off for a couple months.. and the 30 day helped me jump right back in!) Do you get gym anxiety?? I can TOTALLY relate. It’s something I feel that should be talked about more! Thank goodness I had @bronbum_ 97 to be my gym buddy starting out because for the longest time.. my heart would race and my palms would sweat pulling into the parking lot.. and walking through the gym’s doors. Why? Because I’ve seen videos posted on social media of people making fun of the way people are using equipment.. or if they’re new to working out and look a lil awkward.. I’ve HEARD people talk about things they’ve seen at the gym, and how whatever way that person was working out.. was funny to them.
But seriously...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE?? Because I can tell you one thing.. there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting better for yourself and your life. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to live healthy, to get fit, and most importantly.. there’s nothing wrong with LEARNING.💚 If you need anyone to talk to about gym anxiety.. send me a message. We are all in this together and I’m more than happy to be ANYONES gym buddy🤗
