Global Leadership Summit speakers were truly inspirational and powerful. The ones that inspired me the most were @craiggroeschel , @simonsinek , @johncmaxwell and @erwinmcmanus
Craig Groeschel reminded us that Jesus was the greatest leader of all with a heart to care, the ability to inspire, willingness to empower and the courage to be vulnerable.
Simon Sinek encouraged us to play an infinite game with a just cause, trusting teams, a worthy rival, existential flexibility and courage.
John Maxwell emphasized the need for leaders to pursue more 'more' and more 'before' by having an abundance mindset, developing a process, putting yourself in places with people that will expand you, intentional growth every day, and having a vision gap.
Erwin McManus made me laugh and cry with his story about how he battled cancer, and learned to walk in and through his pain and fears and found greatness and freedom on the other side. The greatest fear in our lives is that we will die in mediocrity.
I was disappointed to miss a few of the speakers due to a prior volunteering commitment but the ones I got to see were so powerful and memorable. We even got Shake Shack burgers for dinner on the first day and heard from @dhmeyer in the bonus session about his success as a restauranteur.
I learned so much from this leadership conference and hope I can start putting some of them into practice in my own life. Everyone has influence!
