One thing I've been very conscious about is what I name different images or copy variations in client ad accounts. ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

That way, I can use the search feature and search by ad name/ adset name for containing certain words. That means I can see how one specific image or copy variation performed across multiple adsets.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I used to be all over the place with naming things when I first got started with ads but coming up with naming conventions has helped a ton with analyzing data!.

A typical marketing strategy contains the business's value proposition (what makes your product/service special and why people should actually pick you over others), key marketing messages, information on target customers and more.

Every serious business (big or small) needs a marketing strategy. It doesn't have to be too big but just enough to cover the important parts. Without a well-defined marketing strategy your business will be operating on trial and error. And you can't achieve repeatable growth by running a business on trial on error.

Scaling your hashtags is an advanced strategy to build engagement on your posts. Using some smaller, less competitive hashtags can boost your post into reaching larger, more competitive hashtags. 
There’s no point only using small hashtags that you’ll rank on, likewise with only using large hashtags you’re never going to rank on. You need to use a progression between the two, the easier hashtags will give you momentum and boost your post, giving it a better standing at ranking on the harder hashtags.
PHASE 1: The post has been uploaded, now you’ll be receiving engagement from your active followers. They’ll get you enough likes and comments to rank on the easier hashtags. These are typically the more niche hashtags under 200,000 total posts. You’ll receive some activity from these hashtags, but nothing spectacular – they’re only small.
PHASE 2: So now your post is starting to pick up momentum, you’ve received likes from your followers, and you’ve picked up a few from your starting hashtags.  Your post may have been boosted enough to rank on these hashtags mid-range hashtags. If so, you can expect to get a decent return from ranking highly. It might be enough to reach phase 3. 
PHASE 3: I wouldn’t recommend using lots of these hashtags. They’re the most competitive and require the most likes. However, you know if you can rank on these hashtags you’re on to a winner. If you receive enough engagement you might make it to this stage, this is why it’s recommended to put a few in. Sometimes it’s just luck, some posts will fly through the progression, others will fall short at phase 2.
You just have to be consistent and it will pay off in the end.
