The hike up to this viewpoint is no joke. You pretty much just climb straight up this giant hill under the beating sun until you reach the top a couple hours later. But the work to get here makes this view even more special. I was giddy standing up at that point taking it all in.

📍Milford Sound 🇳🇿
It’s well known that Milford Sound really distorts your perception of size and distance, but it’s CRAZY how true that actually is!
This is Lady Elizabeth Bowen Falls, the highest waterfall in Milford Sound at 162m. Having sailed past some of Milford’s other waterfalls, I’d never have guessed this was the tallest! For some reference, those tiny white things towards the right hand side of the photo are cruise ships sitting in the dock - they are not small boats!
Expect some more size-bending pics of Milford to come!

You, me, our Van and a beautiful world to explore. Could we wish for more?
Since we started traveling in our Van 3 months ago and were forced to live in an extremely small living space, we noticed that we actually don’t need much to be happy.
Because we have little storage space, we only buy things when we really need them. It seems that Vanlife teaches you to live your life more like a minimalist and appreciate the things you have. Back home we bought at least once a month new shoes, clothes and other stuff that fills our rooms. Do we miss them? Actually not at all! We now save hundreds of euros we can spent on things that makes us actually richer. Doing stuff together creating new memories. We’re grateful for this experience. Lessons learned! 🙏❤️
What about you guys? Do you also think you can live with less stuff and be equally happy or be even more happy? ...
Exactly one year ago I had an opportunity to visited and travel 🚌around New Zealand🇳🇿the most beautiful country I have seen so far❤️ and this place is called the Huka Falls🌊, you’ll hear it well before you see them 🎵🎶🙈– it’s the sound of nearly a quarter of a million litres of water per second erupting from a natural gorge and thundering 11m into the Waikato River below #hukafalls#taupo#newzealand ...
