Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless. —Jamie Paolinetti

WEEKLY RECAP 🏊🏼♀️ 2x, insgesamt 7000m
Today, I became a triathlete! 🎉
Why I didn’t start trying this earlier I’ll never know, because as Nathan anticipated I immediately LOVED it. It was exhilarating and hard and amazing! Super grateful for my Keto//Up to get me ready to go and my @nuunhydration to keep me going through the 2 hours!
Race was a bit disorganized IMO, it was supposed to be 4 swimmers per lane and mine had 6 (gong show), some signage for the bike route didn’t exist, and Mother Nature came in with a holy crap wind making the bike rough. Definitely lost some time on that leg having to ride directly into the wind!
🏊🏻♀️: 750m, 17:39
🚴🏼♀️: 20km, 1:05.17
🏃🏼♀️: 5km, 39:43
Swim, my favorite part, felt good other than someone not letting me pass, but I felt strong!
Bike was rough, my legs were burning and I was cold, but I never quit pedaling!
Run was the most mentally challenging - even at a 5k distance it being at the end meant jello legs, tired body, and still being cold and wet meant I had to dig deep.
I got it DONE and I am super pleased with the results!
I think I may have found my new “thing” so it’s time to find some more triathlons to add to this year’s race season!
May 16, 2019: .
Breakfast: Toast!! Coffee!! Water!!
Lunch: Peanut butter sandwich with pita chips and hummus. Water to drink. .
Dinner: Grilled chicken with cheese, bacon, and I think there was ham. It was very tasty!! A side salad with ranch and a baked potato with just sour cream. I didn’t eat of that by the way. Water to drink. .
Workout: I was going for 4 easy miles, but my foot started hurting. That dissipated and then my knee started hurting and I was like maybe I should walk. I ended up only running two miles and walking the test of my workout. .
Snacks: Probably had some, but can’t remember. Haha. .
