These babies are already messing with me and Glenn but this time it is okay 👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼
Today was a long day as I got down with the flu, fever and throat infection again and had a sleepless night....again 😴😷🤧.
After the ctg we had a new ultrasound scan and finally got some better news 😍! The doctor mentioned on Friday that in some cases the lungs maturing shots, steroids can improve the blood flow in the umbilical cord but she did not have high expectations in my case. Well... according to today's scan both Baby B's💖 and Baby C's💙 blood flow has improved. Still nlt the best but it is good enough to give them some more days before they need to come out. Baby A's💙 blood flow was very satisfying today. According to the doctor's measuring Baby B (our tiny boy) has the same amount of amniotic fluid around him as he had last time... not much but not critically low.
Glenn and I had a longer discussion with the doctor and a maternal-fetal medicine specialists after the scan and they both agreed that keeping in the babies until week 34 would be great. They suggested daily ctg scans and a new ultrasound scan on Friday.
We were also told that things can change very quickly and therefore it is very hard to estimate the day of the delivery. If the ctg results will keep coming back fine and I will not go into labour before, then it might be on Friday or if we are very lucky then maybe next Monday or Tuesday. So now comes another couple of days of waiting but I feel a bit more relaxed after hearing about the improved blood flow. .
I will get some sleeping medicine from tonight as I have struggled with insomnia for a week now. Hoping that some sleep will help me get better and by the time I get to meet these babies all the flu and sickness symptoms will be gone!
Glenn is an artist 😍🤣😂!!
No matter how long the waiting lasts.⠀
No matter how hurtful the disappointment feels.⠀
No matter how devastating the diagnosis seems.⠀
